Harvard EA applicants find out 2 hours earlier than we do

Commencement is for graduations.....even though it means the start of something........I guess it's implying the start of something new after graduation.

commencement is for the graduating class i believe.

well at my school i know there are me and this other girl applying (shes higher rank but we dont really "rank" at our school) but we are interested in differing things. But i know last year, there were 4 people that went to Penn (5 actually accepted but one got a full ride elsewhere) from my school and 2-3 was from ED. So Im hoping i have a good chance. Actually my school usually have 2 people go from ED, so maybe tomorrow...ill get in :) knock on wood. But i guess it helps that i actually live in the suburb of philly.

I live in a suburb of Philly, too..........one person went last year and at least one more got in. I hope they like my school or something.....we're really tiny so 2 to any school other than UDel, Pitt, or PSU is a big thing, haha

Commencement is for graduating class (undergrad and grad) at the end of the year.

Incoming undergraduate Freshmen get convocation in the beginning of the year. Make sure you sit near the sides so you can leave quickly and run to Perelman Quad where an amazing array of catered pastries are available.

lol; love the advice johnnyk.

i thought there were 5 applying ED...turns out there are 9..and one of em has two parents working at Penn that donate money...another has a double legacy...sucks..

yea my school is about 1200 kids, 289 or so is in my grade, but we somehow always gets kids to go to like Cornell, Penn, etc...But I would agree there are so many peeps that go to U Pitt, U Del, PSU, and I would even include Rutgers--even tho it is slightly hard to get in to.
