Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Youth Council (President) Lots of performance experience including shows at; Massey Hall/Macmilllan Theater/Roy Thompson Hall/sung with Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Piano, Vocal and theory all with RCM for 10+ years, Lead role in three musical productions through school, Ballet and Pointe, Studied French with U of T.
Job/Work Experience: Roots Canada Flagship store.
Volunteer/Community service: President of Youth Council, Music representative at a Government run senior care center; organized multiple concerts and fundraisers.
Summer Activities: University of Toronto French, Piano, Harmony, Sailing and Ballet.
Essays: Still being written.
Teacher Recommendation: Amazing.
Counselor Rec: Pretty good, she was my choir coach so she knows me quite well.
Additional Rec: One from U of T professor, another from my supervisor at Senior Center.

<p>Don’t put Harvard on a pedestal and you guys will do fine! I made the mistake of putting too much effort into getting into Harvard that I was devastated in December, given false hope, and then devastated again in late April. But I found a place where I was even happier! Have a fun senior year!</p>

<p>Oh yeah sorry that wasn’t directed at you. I think you have really good extra curr so you shouldnt worry about awards too much. Do you guys have essay topics you are willing to share?</p>

<p>Volunteer/Community service: about 400 hours, both during Summers and school year. Through Appalachia Service Project (building/ repairing houses in impoverished areas of KY & TN), Camp SOAR (volunteer counselor for camp w/ kids with mental and/or physical disabilities), various projects through my church, volunteer administration assistant and a children’s research center</p>
