is there a website that will be updated with the results on december 10th? or do they email you your results?

they email us. dec 10 is an unofficial date, but the trend seems to be the second friday of the month. it'll def be before dec 15th though

If you're in, you might be able to log onto the accepted students page using your PIN.

how are we so sure that it will definitelye be before the 15th?

I don't think it's possible to log in, even if you're accepted. I think they send you a new pin when they send out acceptance notifications.

question...will everyone recieve the e-mail @ the same time...meaning is it like sat results which go out in batches?

9 more days until Dec 10th

I seriously cannot get myself to do my other apps until I get a decision from Harvard.

haha, same here.

may your username soon be changed from collegeperson to harvardperson. good luck!

i hope so too

yeah, i will change it to harvardperson if i get accepted and change it to rejectperson otherwise

Quickly! Let us receive our Harvard EA acceptances and begin to plot how we will all go about raping and pillaging Yale at next year's Harvard/Yale Bowl.
We must avenge Yale's lowbred antics.... http://www.harvardsucks.org/poster.html

Whoops, I guess my last thread was illegal, but here was my reply to Liselle for lack of a better place...

My school has the reputation for diversity, because we're an IB diploma school (so kids whose parents come from overseas to the metro-Detroit area to work for the Big 3 companies usually come here) and the name International Academy tends to attract many different people from the area too.

I think our statistic was like from 500 students, about 60 countries were represented (although they counted it if the students were 2nd generation immigrants). Of course, for some countries, for instance Afghanistan, we might have one student representing the whole country.

I love it, but I realize that in some ways we're less sensitive to other cultures than people in homogenous schools. People make Jewish jokes, blatantly stereotype Chinese people, and talk about racial matters off-handedly.

What are your experiences with diversity?

linguistics/ 9-239

oh my gosh! just a couple more days! if i get in i'll have like the biggest party...ever. and then i'll go shopping. it'll be awesome.

i think though, life in general will be awesome after apps are turned in.

if i get in i probably won't be able to party since i'm getting my wisdom teeth done. no howard dean rebel yells. except maybe on CC.

Well, now that we know that the actual date is Dec. 14, not Dec. 10.

There are 8 + 4 = 12 more days left!

And right when I thought we'd hit single digits... Here we are again... 12 days. Gah... Mucho suckiness.

I was referring to the thread on the Harvard forum.

Yeah, two different people have called in and been told Dec. 14th. I'm a believer (an upset one, however).

Me too! I'm so upset now; this is especially true if I get deferred/rejected, I'll feel like I waited for nothing.
