Thanks In Advance!

my goodness, an Indian who says "ya'll". Academically, you are a strong applicant, like everybody else. I think your EC's are pretty good too, especially the internship, shadowing doctors, and science fair awards. Was your cancer research published anywhere? Are you good enough at tennis you be recruited? Those are things that I think would improve your chances. Overall I think you stand a good chance with a carefully assembled application consisting of the right recommendations and an excellent essay.

The worst part of your application, however, is the lack of focus in your activities. (Computer Club, Cheerblock Comittee?)

yeah, i know what you mean about the lack of focus. I'm on cheerblock because I'm a varsity athelete, and because I'll be captain of the tennis team. Cheerblock is basically how we get the student body to be active in our sports activities, so we try to get all the varsity captains to get people to go out to "cheerblock" games.

And my brother and I founded the computer club because both of us have built our own computers, and have dealt with many, many hardware and software problems, so we felt that it would be a nice thing for us to share our knowledge with the faculty and the students. :)

I did actually present some of my research at the Ohio Academy of Science, and I am probably going to do so again this year.

I'm not really sure what I should do with the lack of focus. I'm actively involved with everything I listed up there, and I'm trying to get to #1 by the end of the school year too... Anyone have any ideas on how I could either show that I'm actively involved in all of it or how i could show how I have "focus" in something? I guess I could say I have a focus in my medicine-related stuff, and the rest I do for fun... I dunno, anyone have any ideas?
