The dramatic change in admissions, a pilot program at Harvard, is part of a broader strategy at the school to expand access. Looks like they want to be holistic rather than having to take everyone in the top 1% by LSAT.

Looks like they want more application fees and to drive up their selectivity score in USNWR. Probably because they lost 2nd place to SLS.

I don’t doubt the reasons given by the school: that opening another channel for admission will enhance diversity and international students. That’s been a key focus of the school for decades.

HLS is #2 in the current US News rankings, tied with Stanford. That happens every now and then.

I never expected to be an alumnus of an “LSAT-optional” law school.

I wonder what a HLS acceptable score will be? What is the GRE equivalent of 174ish? And are scores in math and language equally predictive of law school success? Hmmmm.
