Harvard: Math 55

<p>anybody know what textbook they use? Or if they use one at all?</p>

This class is really hard. It is for people who want to major in math. People on the IMO team take this class and it is for math-concentrated people. </p>

<p>Many consider this the best freshman math class in the nation - part of what makes Harvard math what it is. Search on the <a href="http://www.artofproblemsolving.com%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.artofproblemsolving.com&lt;/a> site if you want a whole bunch of info about it, including testimonials from people in it and the lower class.</p>

<p>The textbook varies from year to year. They almost always use "little Rudin," and frequently use Axler's Linear Algebra Done Right also. </p>

<p>With a class that demanding, how would anybody handle the rest of their courses? Wow. O.o</p>
