Harvard Risks

I don't remember him being one of the most brilliant kids at my school. The strange thing also is that he only took 2 yrs of Latin, and 2 yrs. f modern Greek. He als wasn't a legacy, and he wasn't rich.

4 classes a day! I hope your school goes by the block schedule!

Yep block schedule! Because with my online class supplement I am actually taking 8 classes which is DOUBLE curriculum. This will obiviously stand out because three at school are AP and three online are AP and one at school is honors and one online is honors. Its a crazy curiculum! I did almost the same thing last year except I took 6 classes out of four...two APs online.

A girl from Locke High School (middle of south central LA, about 10 mins. away from my house) got into Harvard, and even had an article written about her (I think Byerly posted it). Her SAT (old) was 1180, and she was a Mexican American. I believe her father couldn't work because of a disability, so everything depended on her mother. That's pretty much the gist of it.

EDIT:

My school's SAT average is 989 and my SAT is 1220 BUT BUT (before you all explode with OMGs) my ACT is like 30 while my schools ACT average is 21. Will that be like what she had? I am valedictorian and I have exhausted all my RURAL school has! (will it being rural help?) I have gone more than my school to the point of online classes. With online class supplement I will have taken over an EXTRA YEAR of high school online. BABY if Harvard is not impressed with that I don't know WHAT I am going to do!!!!! Not really low income tho...60,000. My mom is teacher and my dad is a Customer Sales Associate. My dad has an associates degree and my mom a masters degree (lopsided :)). WILL ANY OF THESE THING TIP MY FAVOR WITH ADCOMS????

apfreak, get a life and quit ego-boosting by posting all of your "credentials".

credentials....? Not really...I am not one of those perfect scorers so I am not ego boosting...simply venting anxiety by getting opinions. I see people cannot simply tolerate too much of someone so I guess I will hold back here.

Hey guyz n galz!!! Chillax. You know u ppl r takin this way 2 seriously. Let me tell you something- NONE of u, yeah NONE of u are gonna get in unless Lady Luck is singing. If she is, well ur gonna get in with a 200 in ur SATs ( ok maybe that's um.......) . BUT if she isn't, you kaputtt......

yeah :) true

apfreak, have you taken classes that surpass even AP? There will be plenty of applicants who will have taken courses such as Real Analysis, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Intermediate economics, etc.

Yes but my region sucks and nothing is offered! Dude I go to a rural school ...YEEEE HAAWWW! LOL!
