Hey everyone. I was wondering if great scores from the SATIIs will overcome way subpar SAT/ACT scores. Like if an applicant gets a 1250 or something and gets 720-750 and comes from a bad school like with an SAT avg of 990.

As you may be aware, this is SORT of my situation here and I am wondering if the rank of valedictorian WITH those SATII scores and being Puerto Rican (very small pool) will solidify Harvard's confidence in the rigor of the classes I have taken? I mean...I have done like DOUBLE school work with online stuff ...8 courses total in block scheduling (4 classes a day) 6 of which are AP...2 are honors. I would hate to see them think that those classes were without such rigor!

I agree with filmxoxo17. If you applied already, there is nothing you can do to alter your chances. You, along with everyone else, will know Dec. 14th. Btw, they started reviewing applications yesterday in case anyone is curious about that...

I forgot the actual number, but Harvard turns away a lot of valedictorians. Not that it matters now. It's probably because they have nothing but academics and test scores going for them. Not you though, AP Freak

Yeah but I seriously do not have test scores going for me though...:) The only thing somewhat on par for them are my SATII scores which are ingenious from where I come from...
