I talked to the admissions office today (wanted to make sure they got my new ACT scores) and they said today was the last day for ANYTHING to be considered for SCEA to be turned in. I’m assuming that means they begin going through applications tomorrow
@expertiger I don’t think I would ever leave this website, honestly. I don’t know what’s worse, nor do I know what I would prefer. 
I would think that they would go into full committee starting tomorrow.
@schroscat They’ve both got their benefits. Imagine though, there’s little else we’re going to be stressed about in our lives after this ordeal.
Waiting for Harvard decisions about a week before they’re released. This is where it’s at. This wait is going to redefine our perceptions of stress.
So…either our applications are in that pile, or they’ve been rejected within the past week or two. Eeek!
@QueenN22 But if today was the last day for official test scores and such they wouldn’t be able to throw out the “sub-par” applications without all of the materials so they wouldn’t be able to go into full committee yet
@orionsagittarius I’ve been counting the days down since October, and we’re finally in the single digits. I’m not sure what I feel about this; it seems like freshman year was yesterday. I just wish it was a thick/thin envelope situation!

Wow, I didn’t realize this was a to the last minute thing. Wonder that’s why they post decisions at 5, could they possibly be still deciding early in the morning?
@schroscat I was just saying that the other day! Now I have to go through the stressful process of clicking on links, I bet the site is going to crash too at 5 since everyone will be logging on
@QueenN22 it could be that they have to organize the decisions and prep them for posting that day. Or you could be right and they could still have decisions to make
I’ve always wondered whether people who are good at hacking could hack into a college database? Like from an ethical point of view, that would be wrong but realistically would it be possible?
@QueenN22 Adcom is probably finalizing and confirming everything.
@flautamagica My interviewer told me that it has for RD, (she didn’t have any issue with SCEA with her kids) but you never know for this year. With our luck…

Tbh I think the hardest part of the acceptances is getting the faculty to like you.
Does anyone know how many Harvard EA applicants there are this year?
@expertiger I’d say probably not. Like I said, today was the last day for anything to be sent in to the admissions committee so it’d be too soon for them to make any decisions
@flautamagica I’m already not going to sleep Wednesday night, and I never have good luck with the Internet. So I’ll be sleep deprived, nervous, and very annoyed. That’ll be fun to deal with. :-<
I wonder if CC is going to crash like it did last March…
