If you are submitting something, you need check the area in Harvard supplement and provide information on what you will be submitting.

so should i mail it? do they have an email address? i couldn’t find one on their website

You should read the instructions. It is very clear they expect you to mail it to the admissions office.

I also have a question about this. I’m doing a research internship for school credit this year, and I put some info about my project in the additional info section of the common app. Since I haven’t completed a paper yet, is that okay? Or should I just take it out? I don’t plan on pursuing science in college though.
