Harvard University Class of 2022 RD Thread

Along with the “huid-teaser”, I also have something that says “Your HUID” in my code, does everyone else have that?

we all have these and it’s been discussed many times before. @HazedAndConfused

@HazedAndConfused as you can imagine everyone has that text that means not many can get into. It is just a placeholder that would be populated for few lucky deserving ones.

@PW1234 Yes same thing

Am I the only one who’s not at all interested in trying to determine my admissions decision ahead of time? The way I see it, if it’s not 100% accurate, I don’t want to know. I wouldn’t want to put myself through 2 days of disappointment and find out I was accepted the whole time - or worse (and more likely), convince myself I got in only to receive a rejection letter. Then again, whatever helps you pass the time! Good luck to everyone :smiley:

@Harvard2022maybe can you chill out? You can make another thread discussing your heritage. I would appreciate not having to read about it every other time I come to catch up on discussions here. Thanks.

@Harvard2022maybe

Regardless of her relatively low SAT, Nora is the leader of the Palestinian debate community man! She really deserved it :wink: The Bridge Palestine students this year were admitted to Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, and recently MIT, so you really got a good chance!
Where else r u applying?

@harper3125 being an URM does not in any sense guarantee admission. Accepted URM students work very hard to be offered admission and their efforts shouldnt be belittled by comments such as yours.

Everything I listed is an advantage. That’s all. There is really no debating the fact that these admissions advantages exist. No one is saying any of us don’t work hard.

So all Ivies say acceptances are posted on 3/28 but I received an acceptance notice in my email last week from Cornell. Does this mean the Ivies are simply waiting to post rejections? Has anyone else received acceptance letters from other Ivies? Really praying for an acceptance from Harvard.

An acceptance or a likely letter?

He probably received a likely letter, as Cornell released likelies for Diversity Hosting last week @frosh22

Yes, it is an actual acceptance letter from Cornell. That’s why I asked the question about if anyone knows if actual acceptance letters come out on 3/28.

I hate to reopen this, but are ppl’s checklists gone?

no

.

@bitcoin9531 my checklist is still up

Will decision come out exactly at 7:00?

I went ahead and made an ivy decision countdown, don’t know if you’ll want to check it out or not, but it seemed like a fun thing to do. https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?p0=179&iso=20180328T19&year=2018&month=3&day=28&hour=19&min=0&sec=0&msg=Ivy%20League%20Decisions%20RELEASED
