@Dataminer No I’m not. But anyways being qualified as a URM doesn’t give much of an advantage…or atleast as much as people think it does (it definitely gives their app a boost tho). Pretty sure I got in because of my EC’s.
i also got waitlisted! not too sad about it, tbh. congrats to those who got in!
I just got accepted! This is just so surreal. I can’t stop smiling Stats are 1480 SAT and 4.7 GPA.

I was just WL. How many kids are usually WL?
Waitlist
Waitlisted. Probably will not accept place & commit to Yale. Congrats to everyone!!
Harvard, at least in recent years, never quantifies this number.
My D was WL.
@writergirl0316 Harvard waitlists many. Hundreds. And usually just a few (20-30) are admitted. Last year, for some reason, none of waitlisted was admitted at the end. They sent out more acceptance letters than the number of students they expect to enroll, say 80%. But some years more accepted students decided to come, leaving fewer spots for the waitlisted.
@usma87 Sad to hear your rejection. Looks like a pretty strong resume. Even Northwestern was so stuck up? They like music talent.
@mjioa9 Congratulations! Just curious, how did you manage to get such a high GPA (assuming a 4 scale) but a plain SAT score? Many honor/AP classes?
@purplerain666 Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear Harvard does emphasize students’s ECs. Congratulations again for your hard work!
This is kind of an idiotic question, but how much FA is couted as a full ride?
