Harvard University Class of 2022 SCEA Applicants Thread

@ProfessorMom1 I had this same dilemma about a month ago. I sent my transcript in for the college course I took as part of a summer program. I called the AO and they did confirm that they do want it sent in ASAP. If she is SCEA, it’s too late now. If she is RD, send it in. Request it from the uni’s portal that they have for current students or the National Student Clearinghouse. It should be free.

Most colleges probably do want it.

@nekanorneki they’ve historically released at 5 PM ET

@ProfessorMom1 I had each university send me an official transcript and I scanned those and sent them to Harvard.

has anyone been accepted yet? My daughter seems to think that some people have heard already. Or will all applicants’ portals be updated around the same time this evening?

I want to wish everyone on here the best of luck today! My fingers are crossed so hard for everyone.

@sweetest that is completely impossible, unless the people your daughter is mentioning are recruited athletes. Everyone else will find out at 7PM ET tonight.

@MaybeHarvard2022 How do you see yourself at 7PM EST? Accepted, Deferred or Rejected?

@nekanorneki If I’m being optimistic, I’ll say accepted. But to err on the side of caution and not to disappoint myself, I’m prepared for a deferral.

Hey guys. Just wondering: what are DE courses? Courses dealing with Differential Equations?

@MaybeHarvard2022 I’m expecting a deferral, particularly because of the international “No interview” = “No Acceptance” anecdotes.

I woke up this morning feeling like a rejection was just in the air, so I’m convinced it’s gonna go badly for me.

Hey guys, i just created this account for today

@Harvard2022maybe love the originality :))

@MaybeHarvard2022 HAHAHAHA I’ve been checking this thread for a while now and i have been admired by your presence.

Anyone here an international student like me?

Literally just made an account too. If the head coach of a sport contacted me do I count as a recruit? it is for a rather unknown sport.

@Tomas1355 DE = dual enrollment

I have a question, Harvard went through a hassle to get me an interviewer from another country to my country to interview me, because there’s no alumni here in my country, does this mean they’re interested in me?

Anecdotal evidence suggests that yes, they are. But anyways you will know for sure in a couple of hours:)
