It’s one of the two academies playing this weekend in Philadelphia.
That’s a good question about whether other schools know if you’ve applied early action. I figured it wasn’t worth trying to test it, so I just applied to Harvard.
No I don’t mean you could get away with applying to 2 EA just wondering if once you apply EA other schools can somehow access that info through common app
@Kps1990 those are 2 of the greatest!
Oh. Good point. I’m sure there’s a way the schools can tell who has applied EA or ED.
I’m kind of guessing that HYPS have a way to compare notes to see if anyone violates the SCEA rules among themselves but probably don’t care about other schools’ EAs.
@nrsebayer I have heard that sometimes the ivies talk with one another about applicants so maybe this is what happened if the school your son applied to was an Ivy.
@Kps1990 Are you planning to enroll in ROTC if you are admitted to Harvard?
@Kps1990 What’s the prediction for the game outcome this weekend? Did Army win last year?
@x2019x not an ivy-u of Chicago
@Dataminer I’m applying for an ROTC scholarship so it’s definitely a possibility.
@nrsebayer congrats for your son! Still a top school, could happen you never know
@nrsebayer Harvard would offer your son a similar financial package if admitted right? Or the Gates Scholarship.
@x2019x thanks! My husband loved it there.
Army won the last 2 years and it looks like it will probably be another W this year for West Point.
An old article: https://www.hercampus.com/high-school/7-ways-stay-calm-when-waiting-college-decisions
@dataminer I don’t expect Harvard to offer him anything
I’m not even expecting them to offer him admission. Many top schools offer merit scholarships that Harvard does not. Including u of Chicago
As you are aware Harvard is more need based with their endowment. We do not check that box by far @Dataminer
When do decisions come out? Is it the 13th?
