I heard that results will be out 12/11 at 7pm EST?? Not sure though… can someone confirm?
They are telling admissions counselors December 13 at 7 PM but the announcement is supposed to come out today.
Might be super silly and might be me just getting worked up over nothing but…
On the website, there’s the separate site for admitted students and yesterday when I clicked the “admitted students” button the site prompted me to log in (to the status portal) and then when I did it took to me to the admissions page saying “you belong here”. But today, when I did the same thing, it took me back to the same page (the admitted students page), except now in the top right corner it says “logout”, which it never did before. Does that mean anything or am I just going crazy?

@nijusohc Several people I have spoken to have said the same thing, but then I also hear that adcoms make sure to interview people that are interested in order to finalize their EA decisions. Really hoping the former is the case, though:)
@avani21 me too, when I logged in yesterday, the page was student portal, when I logged in couple minutes before, the website redirected to Admission and Financial Aid website and Said You belong here. I don’t get what it means
Mine always redirected me to the “you belong here” page
@nijusohc Sorry, but according to the papers released as result of the Harvard trial, that’s not the case. If you’re not a competitive applicant, they won’t interview you.

A classic example of a post which elicited my earlier response of 3 whole days ago: "Not for nothing, but applicants should be aware that when you ask other HS seniors, either here or IRL, to judge your ECs, essays, etc., that they are likely as clueless about the admissions process as you are. Consider the source when weighing the responses. "

@orchid4 huh so they were able to assign me with an interviewer in 5 days? what did they classify as a competitive applicant
@oRcHiD4 idk why the regional admissions officer told me interviews only happen when an alumni near me is available, and didn’t mention the “competitive applicant”. weird lol
@avani21Mine has always done that (redirect Admissions page with “You Belong Here”) and “logout” in top right corner. I don’t think it means anything.
@nijusohc That’s just what my interviewer told me… I could be totally wrong though. But @skieurope has a point - literally everything on this forum is hearsay 
@oRcHiD4 haha you’re right. all we know is what harvard released officially and the fact that essays and ECs are much more important than grades
