I’m so nervous… I know that people always say not to attach your identity and self worth to this decision, but I feel like that’s exactly what I’m doing. If I get rejected, even deferred, I know I’m going to be devastated and I have no idea how I’m going to find the motivation to work on other RD college apps
@lugdunensis I know exactly what you feel like. I’ve been struggling to focus on anything else these past few weeks.

@lugdunensis try to get a couple of RDs done before Tuesday. Not that you won’t get in, but I think it will just give you peace of mind to know those are done either way. My son did all of his RDs for that reason. Also remember if you even think you have a chance at Harvard you will be amazing anywhere! Most important is to be happy when all is said and done and you can read a zillion stories of greats who were rejected in a variety of ways and still changed the world. Hang in there it’s almost over!
@indianhopeful24 3 days really…it’ll be late on Tuesday. Hang in there. My son isn’t stressed about it at all. Not sure why but I’m thankful for that. And like all of you he’s such a great kid I KNOW he and you will do amazing things no matter what Tuesday brings or where you all land . Can not stress that enough!
@nrsebayer So Tuesday most likely the date? Omg that’s so soon! Still confused as to why Harvard hasn’t bothered to announce the date yet
@lugdunensis Last year they also didn’t announce it until the morning of the day admission results were released.
@lugdunensis we were told Tuesday just tonight so I think that will be the day. I am surprised was expecting Thursday

With majority of the applicants going to be deferred and only few being rejected, the mood on Tuesday shouldn’t be too bad. Better than hearing that all from my area were rejected by Stanford.
If I didn’t get an interview offer is that a bad sign? My country has a limited number of interviewers and I submitted my application just round the November deadline, but I’m still not sure what to think. I’m not a legacy or athlete.

@stressedsen19r Exact same situation as me. I’m from the Middle East and still haven’t received an interview offer. I’m not sure if they have any interviewers where I will.
@hgrad2010 is there anyway you could confirm if decisions are out on Tuesday?
On the Harvard website, it says they release EA decisions mid December. Does anyone know a likely specific date?
regardless of the specific date decisions will be released, it’ll DEFINITELY be sometime next week between Tuesday to Thurs/Fri. I know this waiting in the dark is so frustrating and annoying and creates a lot of anxiety, but let’s just all pray for the best this week!! my bet is on Tuesday though haha
To put things in perspective, I am told that in the olden days before the magma cooled and while dinosaurs roamed the earth, kids had to wait by a thing called a mailbox until a person dressed in blue walked up at an unspecified date and time with an envelope containing their decisions.
