Harvard Visual Art Supplement

I am aware that questions as to whether or not applicants can send visual art supplements in CD format have been asked in the past, but I was wondering if anyone had heard anything recently about that issue? Harvard asks for slide format on the website unless digital format is absolutely essential for viewing pieces, but I have heard some instances in which individuals called Harvard, and the person who answered the phone said that CD's were fine.

Clarification?

Also, if anyone has had experience with sending CDs successfully, what size and dpi are preferable?

That’s a good question! I helped my sister send her art portfolio to scholarship competitions, and they requested that a CD be sent with her best work (in Harvard’s case, 12 works of art) at a resolution of 300dpi. I would call or email Harvard’s admissions office just to be on the safe side. Best of luck!
