Well, your questions is really broad, but I will try my best to answer it.

When it comes to public policy, nothing can beat the Woodrow Wilson school at Princeton University. Seriously, if you are for sure into Public Policy, then Princeton is the place to be. However, remember that you can’t enroll into Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School in your first year. It is a three year program, so you have to apply after a year of undergrad study. If your GPA is not good enough, you won’t be able to enroll in the program. With that being said, Harvard’s Public Policy is very good as well, but its not AS good as Princeton, at the undergraduate level at least.

Government and Neuroscience, Haravrd beats Princeton hands down. Harvard has the best government department in the nation, well, at least in my opinion. Again, while Princeton is really good, it simply can’t match all the resources you have at the Kennedy school. The research opporunities you will have in neuroscience at Harvard and the wide variety of courses available here simply make the department one of the best in the nation.

I don’t know much about Psychology, sorry.

The alumni who interviewed me for Princeton went to Princeton for undergrad and Harvard for law school, and he also majored in Public Policy at Princeton. He told me some very interesting things about the two schools. First, Princeton does not have ANY teacher assistants, Harvard has quite a few. On the other hand, Harvard has the tutorial system which allows you to get really close to your professors, I am pretty sure Princeton does not.

But since you’re interested in law school, I will tell you one thing. GPA will make or break you application for law school, as much as you hate it, you will need to worry about the GPA. Comparatively, Harvard has more grade inflation than Princeton. So make sure you look at everything realistically.

I hope that helps.
