Harvard vs. Pton/Yale/Stanford

Does anyone know how Harvard UNDERGRAD pre-med/biology stacks up against Stanford, Pton, and Yale in terms of stress, fun, prestige, profs, social life, preperation, and overall experience?

Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

You are completely obsessed. For crying out loud, pick the one you like if you get in!!

I'm not the one with 700+ posts. If your going to insult someone, think about it. I don't see anything wrong with comparing schools.

They're all good schools with excellent biology programs (despite what you though in another post, its Yale's strongest science department and it ranks in the top nationally). From my experience in college and medical school, Stanford kids seemed the most laid back and least competetive, and second were yale kids. I think you should keep something in mind geographical differences. I went to an east coast medical school and there disproportionally high numbers of east coast ivy league schools represented compared to stanford. I have a feeling its a coast-coast bias, since the caliber of students in all of your mentioned institutions are equal.

Pre-medical requirements are really only skimming the surface of each department, and don't in any way require the best faculty in phyics to teach you "intro to physics" or whatever the case. In fact, its quite a joke, even organic chemistry which everyone stresses over. If I were you, I would choose the school you feel most comfortable with as that is the most important factor for doing well and being happy. If you go to what you perceive is the best or most prestigious because of name, you might screw yourself because you might not do as well, and that would have hell of alot more impact on your medical school admission compared to miniscule subjective prestige differences, which don't matter much at this level when applying to medical schools.

Sinbad, I was responding to your repetitive and sometimes immature questions. I chose my first choice school in October. I've done my comparing, but I just think you're not comparing the right things. But suit yourself.

crimson, I think this warrents repetition (and I might steal it when I reply to other questions like this!)
