haha first post people. I just noticed this site. Yet i need sum advice.
Well, i noticed that freshman year is added to Harvard GPA calculation for undergraduate admission. Freshman year wasn't so great for me because i have a 3.3 unweighted and 3.5 weighted GPA. Yet, in sophmore I had straight A's and so far in junior year, i had straight A's in 1st semester and currently have straight A's. I know that the freshman grade sticks out like a sore thumb, should i even bother applying to Harvard? (assuming i do pretty well on the SAT stuff)

Like most other schools, they like to see upward trends, so if your freshman year was iffy (by Harvard standards) but you get all A's after that, it probably won't be that big a deal. Everything else has to be like brilliant though.

uh oh..just wondering...is total of 8 AP's with 4 community colege classes pretty good for harvards standards?

No, they expect a minimum of 10 APs and 6 community college credits. Looks like you're out of luck...sorry :(

lol xanatos

let's see...

2 APs Sophy yr

Darn, shoulda applied to Harvard. haha just kidding....Harvard is overrated (but those stats are true =/)

Why do you want to go Harvard?

Answer well,
