Is Harvard's social life really as horrible as people claim it is? Can some current students discuss this? How are the parties? How about the girls? etc...

I'd like to hear also...(but I'd rather hear about the guys, lol)? What do students do for fun, how often do they go out, easy to make friends, etc...

Also do you guys get a lot of free time? How many ours a day to you guys get free time in average?

Are people really sociable.

thanks

Also, my question:
**
How much do the FINALS CLUBS affect the social life? Are they as elitist as they sound?**

someone from harvard there :)

the guys are hotter than the girls.

Natalie Portman wasn't bad. And don't forget ... Hilary and Haylie are now "Harvard students" too!

yes... those extensions apparently stretch very far, lol

The girls at Harvard (or at Yale, or at Princeton) won't be that hot, especially when compared to girls at the bigger, easier-to-get-into schools (like BU, for instance).

The upside for Harvard is that there are tons of other colleges in the Boston/Cambridge area to date from, as opposed to Yale and Princeton.

Harvard students also have the "nuclear option" I suppose, if they find themselves in a club at Kenmore Square.

What's the nuclear option, Bylery? Dare I ask? :D

sad, but the lack of social life makes a school a lot less attractive is that a reflection fo the type of people there or is there simply a dearth of opportunities to meet ppl?

Paige, could you please clarify your comment about the "lack of social life" ?

The H-Bomb, of course.

Paige is trying to talk herself into believing the anti-Harvard cliches, because her mother is on the facaulty at Yale, and she feels a certain amount of pressure to settle for 4 years in New Haven. (shudder!)

I have reminded her that even President Levin of Yale put the welfare of his kid over loyalty to his employer, and allowed said kid to enroll at Harvard.

Whats wrong with New Haven? I live within 10 minutes of Yale so i know alot about New Haven, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Its kind of like a very low key NYC. While it is a city, filled with stores and restaruants and stuff, its not nearly as hectic as New York. To some people, its the best of both worlds.

A "low key New York", eh? Um .... O.K.

Don't "Um .... O.K." him. He lives 10 minutes away! Unless you do too I would say his opinion should be taken seriously.

Attack on Byerly. Nice :)

ohhhh whooride!
