<p>What do you guys think about Harvard's schedule? (how finals aren't until after winter break, etc.)</p>
<p>Also, are students required to return to campus for the Fall Reading Period?</p>
<p>It's not that weird. Dartmouth has four terms, and they end up having basically the same vacations and exam periods, I think.</p>
<p>I don't really have much of an opinion either way.</p>
<p>I believe students are required to be in the cambridge area for the reading periods... though I could be wrong.</p>
<p>I actually kinda like the schedule... the shorter winter recess means I won't be sitting around at home for a month doing nothing like I am right now :)</p>
<p>Only freshmen are technically required to be on campus during reading period though it isn't really enforced.</p>
<p>However, most languages still have sections during reading period so if you are taking a language you probably need to be there.</p>
