Haha alright, thanks for the info. Maybe if I’m lucky I’ll find a big packet in my mailbox by the weekend!

The black folder is awesome.

I just realized what happened.
I earlier had e-mail conversations with the admission office with the subject “RE: Your Application to Harvey Mudd College is incomplete”
Initially it was about the fee waiver, and then they asked for some additional bank statements and explanations for some financial figures a couple of weeks ago.

And the email I received this morning was-
“RE: Your application to Harvey Mudd College”

Maybe I wasn’t that bad then. At least they argued me for a while and decided against me on financial grounds.

Or did everyone get a “RE:” email?

accepted international with financial aid. please check my history for my profile.

when were these letters postmarked?

Good luck to all who got rejected - everyone says it but it’s true - it isn’t the end of the world and you will still make your life good. I haven’t had a chance to read it all, but I just got this link to an article about successful and famous people who were rejected by colleges, including their favorite colleges.
@Gary7 - my son (USA) also was asked a question last Friday about finances. We took it as a good sign that at least they were still considering him. And they are need-blind for domestic (at least I HOPE they are!) so we are still taking it positively… WHY can’t they send emails to everyone?

I’m in Orange County, it arrived in the mail today.

Rejected. :(

I got mines too. Live in Orange County as well. Does anyone know how many ppl they waitlist?

Rejected Good luck to everyone else who haven’t heard yet.

:(

So the letters were PM-ed yesterday?

Yep. I rode my bike all the way to my aunt’s house to retrieve it, lmao. I guess I’m glad I got into one of my reach schools, at least (UCLA). Though Mudd was my first choice, and I am quite sad.

i live in la county
i got it in the mail today…
I GOT EFFING WAITLISTEDDDDD!!!
AHHH WHAT THE HECK
IM SO SAD D:

Hm, I live in Northern California, and I still haven’t gotten it yet…

I told my friend (I live in Northern California) that it might arrive tomorrow or Friday, most likely Friday.

Strange…does anyone know if they have a unified system of notifying applicant? I got in through email and it’s all too surreal =]

Just a conjecture, but it’s looking like international applicants get it through e-mail (understandable, considering it might take up to 2 weeks for snail mail to reach some intl. applicants) and domestic applicants will get their decision in the mail - so, 2-3 days for us in the US.

ah I’m international so that explained it. Best luck to alll!

We received an acceptance letter in CO on Fri 3/26. The nice black folder didn’t have any mention of scholarship that we are hoping for. Would that come later with financial aid info?

colorado_mom: congrats! Yeah, I believe so. The PSP scholarship is separate from FinAid, but everything else would accompany the package. Good luck!
