I cannot view it on the website but they said that they will mail me the letter and financial aid on Monday. I was wondering if you guys have received anything.

I haven't received anything yet... I want to get it soon, because the amount of financial aid that they give me will be a big factor in my decision to go the school or not. Btw, would it be too brazen (if they happen to not give me that much financial aid) if I told them how much Penn is giving me? I'm concerned that as waitlisted students, we'll be getting the "leftover" money.

I received the acceptance package today via DHL, and yes, the financial aid letter was included.

What's DHL?

A shipping service, kind of like FedEx or UPS.

Ah, ok. Thanks for clarifying that.

Did you get the package at your doorstep? Also, when were you sent the waitlist e-mail and where do you live?

Yes! I got the initial acceptance by e-mail yesterday morning, and I live in Michigan.

Well I am guessing as a Californian, I have to wait until tomorrow.....-_-...lol

My fear is that some idiot steals the package when it is left in front of my doorstep.

So, I got my financial aid package today. Columbia is offering me $4000 less aid than UPenn. Would it be presumptuous as a waitlisted student to ask for more?

@cawcaw90: I don't think so. As far as you're concerned, you're no longer a waitlisted student. You're an admitted student.

Well I finally got my Financial Aid; and I just want to say.....I LOVE COLUMBIA :D

Hey you lucky ones! I'm an international student and I'm still on the waiting list! Now i'm thinking about sending another email to the Admissions but i can't find the email add!! Would u tell me the email add of the director of admissions? PM me if you know! Thank you and congrats!
