I got in you guys!!! :d

everyone who got admitted yesterday, you should be able to get into the portal. I was able to.

I was able to log in now too

Does anyone see a deadline in myCSULB by which we have accept their decision?

Has anybody heard anything for biomedical engineering?

So is anyone else a veteran? I don’t think we have to pay the $150 enrollment fee right?

@keef1193,

“Fall 2012 Incoming Freshman: Inform us of your intent to enroll by May 1st.
Fall 2012 Incoming Transfer: Inform us of your intent to enroll by June 1st.”

Is there a date when new transfers can enroll in classes for Fall 2012? I’m thinking of paying now so i can enroll, but I am not sure if I will be able to enroll right after I pay the enrollment fee?

Still waiting I have to let SDSU know by May 1st
Major: Film & Electronic Arts
G.P.A.: 3.65

Ok So I answered my own questions.

If you are a Veteran, you still have to pay the enrollment fee (there are waivers available that you may be able to exploit) I called the VA office at CSULB and they told me I have to pay.

I paid the enrollment fee ($150) and then called enrollment asking when my hold on registration will be take off. Here they informed me that you MUST (i.e. it is Mandatory) go to SOAR before enrolling in any classes. It costs $62. I just paid for it now, and the earliest date I was able to choose from (As a Liberal Arts Major) was Monday July 23rd, 2012. Which I am kind of disappointed with but whatever.

Yeah, I am pretty disappointed that the first available SOAR appointment was July 17th for me. I wish it was in June or May, but there’s not really much, if anything, that can be done about that. I want to get all of my transfer credits and roadmap to graduation figured out now!

@MyBar1- There are still almost two weeks left! Just check your application status once a day, and try not to think about it otherwise. Relax, things have a way of working themselves out, and worrying never helps anything.

You won’t be able to enroll in classes until you’ve finished your SOAR orientation. That holds true for freshmen and transfers.

EDIT: Sorry missed your post.

I just signed up for SOAR, and the earliest for me was the 18th of July (college-specific major for CHHS transfers), the next one would be August 1st or 2nd!!! I would have much rather had it near July 4th :)

I’ve monitered this thread almost as much as I checked my application status, and…
I got in!
Economics BA
Overall GPA: 3.10 (I did the pre-med prereq’s and they took a toll on my GPA)
Major Specific GPA: 3.5
I’m so relieved that I got accepted (even though I’m still waiting on some UC’s, it’s a major relief knowing I have a future somewhere).
Does everyone have their financial aid award already?

I got accepted today!!! so stoked!!
Polly sci… 2.9 GPA transferring from San Diego area :)

Grr! I am kinda irritated they are making us pay for SOAR! I’m just glad I got the deposit fee waiver cuz IDK how I would pay for both! Oh well, July 23 it is!

Oh and these are the dates for all the orientations:

Hi everyone! Ive been following this forum for a little while now and I just wanted to say congratulations to those who got into CSULB! I still havent heard anything from them and I noticed that most people who got accepted this week are Econ majors, Business majors, and I think I saw Engineer majors too. I was wondering are any of you transfers nursing majors? If you are, have you heard anything from them yet or know when we will? Thanks!

@4b1a5y are you a health major?

Yes - health care admin

Oh ok thanks. Do you know if Health admin gets their letters around the same time as nursing? I get the feeling that nursing has their own dates for EVERYTHING! Lol.
