Has anyone been accepted to IU Bloomington yet?

I got accepted yesterday and applied like 2 days before the Nov 1 lol

Anybody hear back from Kelley yet…? Starting to get worried…

@LoverofNYU Took about 3 weeks for me to hear from Kelley, it’ll come. If you can’t wait any longer, send an email to diradmit@indiana.edu about it. Include your name and date of birth. They told me I was admitted to Kelley, and that the official admit email would get to me soon (which it did).

@jpamsel Alright, so you just sent them an email right? Im kind of worried because if I wait 3 weeks for a decision then the petition deadline for Direct Admit will pass, and I dont want that to happen. I’ve heard they only tell you if you get in. Do you think I should email them?

@LoverofNYU I would shoot them in email. Literally as long as you have the stats, you’re in. No ifs and or buts.

I am just wondering for those of you who were accepted, did any of you guys submit a personal essay (not the one that was given in the application)? And do you think it would be helpful to submit one?

My daughter applied on October 31st and saw online today that she got admitted. Yay!

Quick question - Do any of you guys kno wut the message on the portal will be for a kelley direct admit?

it will be a separate letter and email @IvyWin

Yep! Applied mid-October for the School of Global and International Studies, got accepted around the beginning of November.
Initially I wasn’t invited to complete the Selective Scholarship Application because my SAT score (math + CR) was short by just a few points, which really bummed me out… but I took the SAT a second time shortly after I was accepted, and just today was invited to complete the SSA. Don’t have as much time to do it now, since it’s due the 15th… but glad I finally got it!

Got accepted! I was checking the process just now thinking I won’t get anything until January when the display changed to “finalize admission”! I’m an international student by the way, and now I’m extremely excited, especially it’ll be my first time to the States!

Stats:
SAT 1940
Not much EC’s but they are hard to get in
Got some science and language awards
No class rank or GPA but I think I’m at the middle in the top class
From Hong Kong
