mariagoestocal, how did you find that info out? Does that only apply to you? certain majors? or everyone? thanks!

I applied as a incoming freshmen for the Fall of 2012. I sent out all my applications on October 3rd and have yet to receive anything from SDSU. They haven’t asked me for my high school transcripts either. :o
G.P.A: 3.59
SAT Score: 1460
Major: Anthropology

I don’t live nearby San Diego but I do live in Southern California. I hear that SDSU will be sending admission letters early this month! So we should all be hearing back soon…
Good luck to everyone! :)

@ karenee

I follow them on their Facebook page, [San Diego State University (SDSU) Admissions - University - San Diego, CA | Facebook](San Diego State University (SDSU) Admissions)
and just yesterday they started saying that everyone will know the status of their admissions by the end of this month.
However, I also read someone comment, that said that they had called Admissions and someone told him that everyone will be notified within the next two weeks.

@ AncientGammoner

Did you have all your prereqs complete for AE?? And did you apply with tag??

Congrats!! :D

In my webportal it says my high school transcript is still required with a red cross, but when I called they said they had all my stuff…did they just not update my webportal for some reason?

I read on the Facebook SDSU Admissions page that your Admissions Status Date changes when your application is reviewed. I am concerned because the date on my D’s portal is the same as the date that she submitted her application. Does that mean that they haven’t even looked at her application yet? I can’t imagine that is the case this late in the game.

No tag, and I’m not local, but I pretty much had everything they wanted for my major yeah, even though I wasn’t exactly shooting to fulfill SDSU’s requirements specifically (course choices were mainly geared toward what the Cal Poly’s wanted since they are higher up on my priority list). I also completed my CSU GE certification in the Fall.

I plan on applying to SDSU next year fall 2013, as an out of state transfer students, with an A.S. in Business Administration.

My expected GPA is between 3.2-3.5.

I’m going to apply as an marketing major, do I have a good shot?

yess I got in
stats:
SAT: 1830
GPA (weighted): 3.9
in state student
tons of extra currics and 5s on all my AP tests

How do you calculate your CSU GPA? I know there is a calculator on the web for it, but the application is due NOV 30 and it says you can put your 12th grade grades into the GPA calculator, but would that really matter if you already applied and your 12th grade grades cannot be sent?

Accepted!

Transferring from Mt. SAC
Major: Nutrition
GPA: 3.65
NOTE* not all assist.org requirements completed

I’m actually surprised I got accepted

thanks for the info! :)

left SDSU a very friendly Facebook comment…

@samsmomo I’m having the same problem… :[

My Status Date still shows the same date as when I submitted it. Does anyone know what this means???

@sdsenior - what major did you apply to? Are you in the service area?

My D’s status date shows the date she applied. It hasn’t changed at all.
(she is a hs senior, art major)

accepted yeahhh feb 27
pre-nursing major
3.73 gpa

@samsmomo I applied for Electrical Engineering and yes I am in the service area. I live in San Diego about 25 minutes away from SDSU.

Do you know any information on what the Status Date means and such? SDSU is quite confusing with their admission process ><

and thanks for that info Karenne [:

@sdsenior Here is what it said on the Facebook page regarding the status date…

“Admissions status dates are updated each time our staff views your application. Don’t worry, all applications will be reviewed. Just keep checking your WebPortal account! Good luck!”

If you are in their service area, that will definitely help you. We are in North County so our service area school is San Marcos. Doesn’t help my D though since they don’t offer the major she wants.

Hey guys. Got accepted on the first. From San Diego.
1520 SAT
3.95 CSU GPA

(pre nursing)
