I applied two months ago and nothing has changed on my application status page. I know in previous years that acceptance letters were sent out by now. I don’t know what I am going to do if I don’t hear by early January. CU is my first choice, but I will have to apply at some other colleges by Jan 15th in case I don’t get in at CU. I don’t see how waiting until Feb 1st is good for CU. I would think that they would lose good applicants who decide on other schools that notified them earlier than 2/1. Anyone else tired of waiting?
Im in the same situation. CU is one of my top choices and it is really hard to decide what to do if I wont hear back until February 1. I applied 10/5
I haven’t heard back either. Applied 11/15. My last choice, but I still want a response :P. They said 6-8 weeks after you apply, so assume you’ll hear back by early January.
@aminorspark Did you hear the 6-8 week time frame from Admissions this year, or are you going by past years?
@rofiorillo It was stated on their website somewhere, I believe. Can’t seem to find it now though, so I could be wrong?
@aminorspark I check every day hoping that decisions will start to come out soon! Seems that this is the first year they are not rolling and all they guarantee is that EA will have a decision by 2/1. I even asked if that meant “on” 2/1, but they will only say by 2/1 and not confirm that any decisions will be released before then…
My daughter was just accepted so looks like some notifications are going out. She got an email stating that she had an update on her status.
@infoseeker35 Thanks for letting us know. What changed on the status page? Did it change from Application Submitted to something else?
A whole bunch of football players were accepted today!
She got an email that said her status had changed. On her application status page there was just a link that said something like “status update” which then went to an acceptance letter. Good luck everyone. It should be noted she applied very early and it in state.
My daughter just got accepted today too!
Congratulations to everyone who was accepted so far! Hopefully they will keep rolling out!!
Those that have be notified, are you in-state?
My daughter is in-state and was notified yesterday.
@infoseeker35 and @COmomma Congratulations!! Can you share their stats?
Thank you. She was pretty excited. She has a 3.97UW and a 4.45W gpa. SAT was kinda low at a 1230 though. Tons of leadership roles (President, Captain, etc.) and over 300 volunteer hours.
My daughter was accepted on 12/20 into the college of engineering, mechanical engineering program.
@JustaCOMom Congrats! I’m assuming in state?
Yes, in state.
Anyone OOS been accepted?
