<p>it always bugs me how nyu isnt in the top schools list - it should be. we should campaign for it!</p>
<p>NYU isnt high enough in the USNWR rankings to be in the "top school" section</p>

<p>top business, top law, top theater, top film.....that ranking is bogus</p>
<p>quality of students has to get better and the students themselves have to project the NYU name through both charitable and academic activities. its the students that count in the end, not the program. The alumni have to rise to respected positions in their respective fields. NYU is undoubtedly a great school and as its endowment increases, I am sure it will move higher up in the rankings in the near future. Yes, US News rankings are pretty stupid to say the least.</p>

<p>oh my GOD. I left Friday morning (having read all new NYU threads) and today, two days away, I come back and the neww threads are all the way to page 4!!!!!! Hell YEAH this is an active board!!! :) It's all very exciting! :)</p>

<p>University day is on April 9th--a Sunday. For CAS or GSP you can have it at 11AM or 12PM</p>

And Sterling isn't too far from DC, is it? I mean, your bound to find something there. I normally go to NYC via Amtrack, but that's expensive... I'm sure there's Greyhound, which I wouldn't advise, and a few other bus companies in DC that travel to NYC...</p>
