Has anyone heard from Webster MT

Still crickets ?

I saw on Informed Delivery that we have mail from Webster today. Crossing fingers!

Keep us posted- we have informed delivery but it always shows 0, so not really ?‍♀️

Still haven’t heard anything. Is it safe to say all acceptances have gone out and rejections are on their way via snail mail? D really wants to make her decision ASAP and Webster was high on her list.

Nothing in the mail today ?‍♀️?

@mtmom3girls are you in the midwest or east coast?

Sorry, mail was late and we are leaving for NY/NJ tomorrow to visit Rider, LIU Post, and Molloy. D got a No in the mail. Was a little bummed but at least we know and can move forward.

@mtmom3girls sorry about the no - enjoy Rider, LIU, and Molloy, sounds like your D has some great options!!

Teeny envelope in the mail. This one is going to hurt.

Same here @4angels :slightly_frowning_face:

LIU’s acceptance came in a no frills one page teeny envelop

@gatorbridget it was a tiny little “no” ?

We got nothing. And we leave for Missouri State tour tomorrow. I could swing S by Webster if I had a yes or even waitlist ( you know 3 1/2 hours each way little side trip ??‍♀️) So frustrated

@gatorbridget My D knew there was a letter in the mailbox, but was at school, at 3:00 on the dot she received a call from Webster congratulating her on admission to the regular school and inviting her to admitted student day this weekend. Pretty ridiculous.

On another note, would love to get your feedback on Missouri State.

@4angels Absolutely!

Got the teeny tiny no today ? waiting for second flight into Springfield to visit Missouri State. Having a glass of wine to ease the pain

I feel your pain @gatorbridget & confess to a glass of wine (or 2) on Thursday night, as well.
Onward and upward - enjoy Missouri State, its a great program with a reasonable price tag! Fortunately for us, D got an acceptance to Ohio Northern yesterday and we’re over the moon about that!

Has anyone who got the yes, received talent money? My D got a merit scholarship with her academic acceptance, but nothing with her BFA acceptance.

Fairly disappointed in how Webster notified my D. She got a no. No big deal, she has other schools. But to be this late and to be a letter from their admissions office (trying to lure her to another program) and no communication whatsoever from the theatre department? Would it kill them to send an email? Plenty of “no” letters/emails in this process, but none less thoughtful than Webster. Cut-throat is one thing. Simply courtesy is another. Can’t say I’m sorry she’s headed elsewhere.

I agree @Mempho - we visited twice and D was kept last in the audition room and they really talked her up for a while and made her fall in love. I’m sure lots of kids got the same vibe too but such a cold no after all that seems cruddy
