Great to hear your S was offered a nice package mtguymom. One can only hope that Hartt is as generous with the girls!!

Just hung up with Hartford admissions office who confirmed if you have access on the website to place a deposit you have been accepted!!

She said D’s letter went out on 3/21 so not sure why we haven’t received it, but she was accepted to BFA MT with scholarship. Hartt was her first choice so we are all so excited!!

Wow, getting into a first choice is very difficult and so Hooray for your D! Nice to see a dream come true.

Congratulations to Sadiedkh’s D! So happy she got into her 1st choice!

My D got her acceptance today too!
But no letter about money - so does that mean no help?
Shouldn’t there be a packet that comes from the financial aid office?

I got my letter today too today!

I got my acceptance letter today in the mail too! Accepted into the University and into the Hartt school for BFA MT! Im really stuck between a few schools now… this is so difficult sometimes

nbmom, I believe, and I may be wrong here, that if your student received a talent scholarship it is listed in their acceptance letters. If your child was admitted in December after the early action audition, they will receive another acceptance letter including the amount. Otherwise, there will be a separate letter from the financial aid office with all of that info.

Also, whilst you make decisions if anyone has any questions about the program feel free to send me a message. I’ll be more than happy to answer! I’m currently a freshman MT! Congrats to everyone who got their letters!

Hey there, if anyone wants to start getting to know each other then I can be added on facebook by searching estevan91@gmail.com

We got the letter today too! Scholarship was listed in the acceptance letter…Congratulations to everyone!!!

Son rec’d his letter with scholarship today as well. Happy times…

What made Hartt your top choice? I know a student there but haven’t heard of any successful alumni or anything.

My son got his acceptance letter yesterday, along with scholarship info!

MezzoSmarty- Well, I was invited to do a shadow day at my audition and a month later I went. There I sat in on three classes. The first was a Voice/ Speech class, second was an Acting class and third was a Career Prep course. Although I was only there for those three periods, I really felt the students development and growth throughout their first year. Also, the sense of community was unbelievable. From only being there that one day, I took in a lot, especially from the acting course. The staff as well, are extremely knowledgeable and have been in this industry for a long time. Fun fact: the woman who taught the voice/speech course dated Paul McCartney and was up for Professor Mcgonogle in Harry Potter (thought that was pretty cool). I had a meeting with one of the MT admissions people while I was there and there are plenty of opportunities to have internships with other theaters especially Goodspeed (which put on original productions and revivals).

I just really loved it :)

I am definitely going!! So excited! Add me on facebook!! hopefullyonkey@gmail.com

I think you guys my enjoy a YouTube video. For those of you who didn’t get to go to the Collage Concert, there is a video on YouTube of Zoe Kassay ('11) and the cast of Children of Eden performing “Ain’t it Good.” The original performances were back in October of this school year.

I received my acceptance letter 2 days ago. I am definitely going. I am so excited, Hartt!!!
