Has anyone not gotten their acceptance yet?

(copied from the FAQ)
When will I hear if I've been admitted?

All freshman admission applicants will be informed of our admission decisions by April 1st. Students being considered for merit scholarships will be notified sooner.

so.. those you who havent heard bak yet (like me!!), hang in there!!!

has anyone hear back who hasnt been considered for merit scholarship?

Yeah people did hear but I am not one of those people. I really want to hear like you.

i heard and i wasn't being considered for a merit scholarship, although i hear they are still deciding who will recieve the 1/4 scholarship.

i didn't apply for scholarship and i heard about a week ago.

"and what I don't understand is why a bunch of people on this CC site applied there knowing that they could not afford it. I can afford the full tuition."

dude- ppl still want a chance at scholarships and/or financial aid! and some really great ppl here on this CC site r gonna get huge scholarships to pay the full tuition!

i found out i got in on 3/22 but i dont know if iam being considered for a merit scholarship, i applied before 12/15 but it doesnt say in the packet if iam being considered i highly doubt that i will get any merit scholarship, my stats are too low the only good thing is my gpa which is a 4.397

Well, I guess I have given up hope on USC. Didn't get notified sooner so I'm positive I didn't make the Trustee (full) or Presidential (half) scholarships. I haven't heard anything yet but the remaining scholarships will be less than $12000, so there's really no point. All the same, receiving a letter of admission from any school is equally exciting - i'm sure some of you will agree with that - scholarship or no scholarship.

how does USC recalculate gpa??

Like i said earlier, I was accepted 3/2. The scholarships that are not the Trustee or Presidential will be sent out around April 1, so we'll have a while to wait(ok more like 5 days but yeah).

Well you apply there because during that time you can find scholarships. Sorry, if we're all not rich enough, just thinking about the marginal cost vs. the marginal benefit of attending. Either way, hope we all make it to USC!

NO!!!! NOT ECONOMICS!!!

sorry, my teacher is currently driving me insane

lol i know!

You can check online to see if you got in?
