I was never warned that the AP Environmental Exam and the AP Psych Exam were both on the same day before signing up for them at the same time. Is anyone else doing 2 exams in 1 day? If you've done it before, what tips, if any do you have? And what did you get on the exams?

I know that after one AP Exam that your brain is fried, so I'm worried about having 2 back to back.

Fortunately for you, both Psych and Env Sci are both relatively short exams (especially Psych). Get lots of sleep the night before. Stay relaxed but on top of things. Don’t stress. Take advantage of any down-time that you can find.

I did Chem and Psych on the same day last year (5’s on both). I also did Music Theory and both Physics C’s on the same day last year (5’s on all three). Yes, it was tiring, but it wasn’t impossible, and I still scored well on my exams. Good luck!

I would say as long as you have enough understanding of each you’ll be fine. Just make sure to stay relaxed. Its just like taking more than one midterm/final

I took AP Chemistry and AP Psychology on the same day last year. I was not well prepared for Chemistry and only scored a 3, but Psychology was the opposite and I scored an easy 5. My brain was not fried after Chemistry; as long as you have strong mental endurance, you will be fine. If you’re one of those people that can’t focus after a few hours of studying, good luck.
Luckily though for you AP Enviro and AP Psych are probably the two easiest AP exams, hands down. After my AP Enviro test I was not tired in the slightest. In fact I was energized because it was so easy and I knew I had aced it. So make sure you know your material and can focus for a long period of time and you will be fine.

Yeah, that happens. You just talk to your school and they’ll rearrange it for you. There’s more than one version of all the AP tests for this reason.

i actually think people who take 2 exams in one day are super lucky. you get to miss an ENTIRE day of school basically. i would prefer taking 7 hours of exams that if ur prepared for shouldn’t be difficult at all, than to sit through that time in boring as classes in school

@ilovedianna: At my school you get to leave after 1 AP exam. For example, if you have an exam in the morning, you can leave after. For afternoon exams you don’t have to come in until 11:30.

Never took two AP’s in one day, but I once had a USAMO exam (4 1/2 hrs for three math questions) followed by a test in school. Basically the only thing you can do is take a nice, relaxing break between the two exams and you should be fine.

OMG, I will be taking both AP Stat and AP English Language on the same day! They are so completely unrelated (except both require tons of writing), and I wonder how that will work out for me?..

I have to take US Government and Politics in the morning and Comparative Government and Politics in the afternoon. I’m going to a college that doesn’t take Comparative for credit (many schools don’t because of the way it’s structured, should have done my research) but at my school you have to take at least 3 of your AP exams or you lose a letter grade in the classes you don’t take the exam in, and I only have 3 APs since I dropped Chemistry.

Just for fun, I’m probably going to rant about socialism or something on the free response questions of the Comparative test.

I took AP Lang and AP Stat the same day this year. AP Lang went by fairly fast but if I hadn’t eaten I would’ve been miserable during AP Stat. Bottom line is, eat!
