Will taking 2 AP tests on the same day really wear someone out by the 2nd test after taking the first? I was thinking about self-studying AP Psych, which isn't really that hard, but I'm already taking AP Chem which is on the same testing day as AP Psych and I think that 5-6 hrs of testing is way too much for me. Do you guys think I should go for it anyway? I'm a sophomore btw.

Anyone with experiences of taking 2 AP exams on the same days they want to share?

I had two on the same day last year. It wasn't bad, but the subjects weren't drastically different. Now, bio and physics on the same day this year...THAT is gonna suck. Actually, I just decided to opt out of bio 'cause it's a boring subject. : D

My friend faced this dilemma last year; she requested to take one of her subjects during its make-up date because she didn't want to have a back-to-back session.

oh god, my brain would explode. I gues it depends on how much you hate standardized tests. I was about to die after 1 AP exam. I'd be a little quivering heap of jello after two. I detest standardized tests with a passion.

luckily all 4 of mine ended up on separate days... ^.^

I have two days with a back to back session; I have AP Environmental and Psychology on one day, and I have AP World History and Microecon on another.

Me too and this is my first year taking AP Exams. I have AP Chemistry (self-study) and AP Psychology (self-study) on May 13, and AP English Language and AP Art History on May 14. If you want to take the exams and you are motivated to study, go ahead. Just make sure that you know your material well, so that way you won't stress out the weekend or night before testdays.

umm...i'll be taking spanish IV and stat together...i guess these two are completely different subjects...(btw, i am not a native spanish speaker)

haha..they didn't change the schedule much from last yr...regarding APUSH and APEURO on the same day...that'd be quite a day for you...but at least they're all history...u wud rather benefit from it I shud say...
