Has Colby College changed in the last few years?

One Colby coach (post Greene) suggested that recruits should aim for a 32 ACT. Of course, the actual number would depend on the strength of other parts of the application as well as athletic ability and skill level.

I would say that Colby has changed in the shedding of its somewhat traditional image. It is now being polished up in appearance. There is a new wing to the art museum, new career counseling, new dormitories in downtown Waterville, new athletic facilities, and new oversees study programming. I could see that to a professor these improvements might seem superficial or a professor preferring to spend money on academics rather than new buildings. However, they all improve the student experience. From a parent’s perspective, I would view the improvements as very positive.
