Has NYU ever acknowledged the FA change theory?

I completely understand why their is so much hype surrounding this theory. I personally think that with the substantial amount of personal testimony we've seen, it's extremely plausible. However, I was wondering if NYU has ever acknowledged this theory or nodded their heads towards the fact that there may indeed be a glitch in their system? I just think it's so weird that a school like NYU has this sort of glitch. In my opinion, they should've been able to fix it and would have fixed it long ago..

Shawn Abbott, the Dean of Admissions at NYU has said in the NYU admissions blog the following things:

"Each year, those of us on the admission committee are thoroughly entertained by posts we read online from students (and oddly enough, parents) who believe they have located evidence of their admission decision somewhere online. They are wasting oh so much time that could be better spent. Admission decisions simply are not available anywhere on our website. Period. " March 26, 2013

“Again, all admission decisions will be sent via email and no decisions will ever be available anywhere on our website.” December 5, 2013

“All decisions will be delivered via email. Admitted students will also be mailed a packet of important materials. No admission decisions will be available anywhere on our website – though each year, many applicants erroneously believe that any change to one’s self-service page of our NYU Albert website hints at an admission decision. Such changes do not and again, no admission decisions will be available on our website.” December 6, 2013

im sure they would deny all of it… but looking at the trend…

Yeah, I feel like there’s a various obvious, undeniable correlation between the FA change and acceptance at the school. I sure hope that the theory will prove to be correct again this time around.

This relation has happened for the past 2 ED. Rounds… Trends don’t change

Well, I mean. You never now. NYU could have fixed it. It’s been over a year.

Possibly… The trend was still seen in ED 1

It just makes sense… I read an explanation of the FA packages being made for those who were actually accepted. … why would the FA dept even bother making a change or a difference on your profile if there has not been an acceptance?
