Has there ever been a UCLA decisions thread?

There's a decisions thread (with stats, postmark dates, etc) on the USC board but not for the UCLA board. I've searched for one but no luck.

If not, can someone tell me when people first started hearing of decisions? I heard March 25th from UCLA but they said mid- to late-March, so it could be earlier than the 25th.

Thanks.

You can start one.

LOL, I remember the year I was trying to get into college. There was a UCLA thread that had this huge ass list of people who got admitted, and I remembered all the people listing all these small details of their stats. I think that thread pretty much exploded once the regent likely letters went out and when the engineering likely letters went out (mid Feb/early March?).

You could start it, but I thought that UCLA usually let decisions out in late March (tries to compete with Cal in the suspense factor).

I loved ■■■■■■■■ the “When will decisions come out” threads last year.

There are probably another two weeks to go, so starting a decisions thread now would be pointless.

I realize that there’s some time still but I was wondering if anyone made threads last year.

Guess not.

^What’s that guess based on? Did you search something like UCLA Decisions 2013?

Yes…no hits. Maybe I’m wrong.

My D is waiting to hear about transfers- that isn’t until Mid-April. Yikes!

There was one. In fact, there were a ton of threads from all the way up to 6 years ago, but for some reason they seem to have been deleted.

is it really that hard to write out daughter or son?

^ lol i noticed that too. i guess they want to sound cool you know?

My question is: what does “DS” mean? Is it supposed to be an ambiguous “daughter/son”? If so, people aren’t doing a good job of keeping the gender secret, because they usually go on to use “he” or “she”, haha XD

the D is for darling I think. Still, better to refer to your DS’s than your DD’s.

the D before S, D, or H means darling, lol. man, i need to stop hanging around the parents forum -_-

No I thought the D stood for “dearest.”
Yeah I don’t understand why parents here always write “D or S, DS” or whatever. Just type out the entire word. You only lose, like a second of your time?

Not if you’re using the hunt and peck method

there’s been a decisions thread every year since i’ve been a member here on CC

“Not if you’re using the hunt and peck method”

the what/who, now?
