<p>Hey does anyone know when the acceptance notices came out last year? I'm trying to get a handle on when current applicants should find out about...does anyone have any ideas?</p>

<p>nikelbocker these are rumors about the myucla account like the cheating way to find out not the actual congrats, but I can show you the steps on how to do so if you don’t know. Most likely though, the decisions through myucla come like 2 or 3 days earlier than the official one’s</p>
<p>yeah thatd be great…i guess? haha are you doing it that way? I dont want to like ruin anything or anything like that…and so the rumors are saying that myucla will open for transfers around the 16th?</p>
<p>ok if decisions come out the 23rd, myucla will come out like 20 or 21 then. its because ive been hearing that actual decisions might come like the 20 thats why there’s speculation we can know in myucla by the 16 or 17 latest. yeah iam actually doing it this way because I know the secret on how I am in or not. So far I don’t know what it feels to be rejected and sure hope I dont get rejected but lets see what happens. Right now I am pretty scared on the days that the decisions will be coming out because at my community college ok there’s spring break next week and then the following week which ucla will make decisions, I have 2 midterms, 1 for my prereq for ucla and the other for a prereq at occidental college. so here’s the deal. I know this is being messed up, but if I get rejected by ucla I am done and will just be contempt with a C as a final grade in that class. why bother getting a higher grade if they didn’t accept me. if I get in then i will fight for an A or a B. So I kind of work and study by motivation factors and I am concerned because that will be a distracting week and that midterm can’t be dropped. for my prereq for oxy which is a business calculus exam, I can drop the exam worst case if like let’s say the decisions come out exactly the 23rd which ironically thats when that exam will be on so if I get depressed, I can just drop it. No way i think I will have the mind to even go take it, otherwise if I get accepted, I will be very happy and relieved. another thing I can do is try try my best to not look at the admissions site for that week and play it on like that. I would really wish to be honest o receive the news next week to either study very hard for the exams or thats it. let me know what you think. and whats your major and stats by the way? good luck</p>
<p>ahhh IC! well yeah let me know how to do it that when then too! I’m suprised you ve been hearing on when they will release decisions…haha i cant tell you how many people i know who ve called to ask if they have an idea of when the decisions will be out and all we get it “late april early may” and clearly that doesnt help at all… So hmm yeah I know I cant handle the waiting…its just horrible anxiety especially because this is the only place I applied!</p>
<p>My stats dont really matter TO much because of my major, I applied to the theater program which you have to audition for…I currently attend Cal state University FUllerton and am in there BFA program but its just not the school for me to put it mildly haha…but here are my circumstances…i have a 3.0 (not high I know…) but I auditioned and the theater department called me a couple weeks later and said I was one of the students they were interested in but i was missing a couple of pre reqs because of the current program I am in so if i was to be accepted they wanted to know if id be willing to take classes during summer or intersession and i told them i would be more than happy…they said great and then made sure they said that they havent made any deciwsions yet though rergarding admissions…so i was like ok…then she said she would email me the class lists that freshman and sophmores are required to have taken by there junior year ( i auditioned well into the second semester FYI) and she said it was nice talking to you on the phone here are the class lists of what we expect from our freshman and sophmores…so as much as i like to think thats a great sign im still really stressed because if someone was just as good as me acting wise but had better grades or came from a CC im screwed…</p>
<p>also not that i think this has anything to do with anything but they also emailed me not to long ago asking for transcripts from a school i forgot i took classes from haha ( a cc) so i sent those in and have heard nothing yet…so thats basically where i stand…i know they can accept lower than a 3.0 because of the type of department they are in but still i dont want to get my hopes up…although i have my heart set on UCLA and always have…</p>
<p>but yeah so what do you think about that? and what are your stats? also yeah im totally down for doing it the way you are thinking but is that a sure fire 100% way to do it?</p>
<p>I think your in the ball park to be hoenst with you. your just fine and they will know that you applied to just that school which is important to know as well. the major is not impacted so I can see your chances of being in. and yeah I am 100% about the way i am going to do this, if it works I will help you out immediately because then again they might do things differently this year you know. ok i sent you an e-mail about my stats its long and detailed.
