has this happened to anybody

I recently had a phone interview with Siemens and last Tuesday someone sent me an email asking me to come for an in person interview this Thursday or Friday. The person said he will contact me by the end of last week. There was no call until last Friday so I called him back and he said someone else will call me on Monday with more information.

Today is Monday and I didn't get a call. This seems very unprofessional and I am worried they must have cancelled my interview. If I didn't get a call tomorrow what should I do. Should I call again tomorrow or email??

I had something similar happen to me for a different program, I kept emailing them and called them a few times(not everyday but once or twice a week) and it ended working out in my favor. So long as you don’t go overboard, they will see this as proof of your interest and dedication.
(In my case the person who was supposed to interview me was unavailable, maybe something similar is happening to you?)

I worked for a company that routinely took a few weeks (or longer) to put all the pieces together. When we were in a heavy hiring mode, the initial contacts didn’t even realize their requests for the next step wouldn’t be acted on as fast as they had promised the interviewee.

This says little about your yea or nay chances, at this point.
