I am becoming more and more nervous as time goes by. I applied for RD with a 3.24 and a 26 ACT score. My recommendations and essay were both strong, so tell me, how are my chances?

Your GPA is a little low, and I am not that familiar with ACT scores. But as long as it’s compatible with at least a 1750 SAT score… you have been involved in many HS activities/community service things, you should have a fairly good chance. Best of luck!

It took me a while to respond to this, but my ACT is comparable to a 1780 on the SAT.

AU publishes a data book, which is on their website, with the number of applicants in each SAT/GPA category, and the number of acceptances and rate in each.

So you don’t need us to chance you - AU does it for you.

where is this on their website? Ive never seen that. but thank you!!!

wow amazing. thank you very much!!!

I wish all colleges did this - then we could eliminate about 90% of chance questions. Yes, other things matter besides SATs/GPAs - but that’s why this is about “chances”, which are highly predictable in that SOME folks with lower SATs/GPAs will get in, but MORE people with higher ones will.
