Have a 680 in verbal, retaking SATs...how can i raise it to a 700?

Basically, to get a full scholarship to rutgers or a bunch of other schools, i need to break a 1500...my strong area is math, but i already have an 800 there so i cant depend on that, however my 680 verbal has room for improvement...whats the best way to raise that score 20 points? should i try to answer as many as i can, or leave a few that im really not sure of blank? thanks a lot for any help.

BTW on practice tests...ive scored as high as a 730 and as low as a 650...i have to hope the SATs on saturday have words that i know

also, what is the curve for the SAT 1 verbal? if i have time at the end of each section, i like to add up how many blank i have, and how many possible wrong, so i can get an idea of my raw score and wat i need to stay above 700

8 WRONG......definitely works!
i got a 680 too.......im gunnin for a 700....8 wrong is all we can spare...

No, you can get more than 8 wrong. You can get as many as 10 wrong and 1 omit and still get 700. But only on really nice curves.

Yeah, I float from a 700-770, predominantly in the upper section of that range. I can't seem to get an 800 on practice tests! I always miss around 5-6.

well, u have to get used to practicing on harshest curve, which I is 8 wrong at most for 700+. I never thought I could raise my 650V to 700, but with tons (i mean it) of RCpractice and memorizing vocab (and with pretty lucky break on curve), i got 750. It's definitely doable. If you consistently score around 700~720in practice, u'll get 700+.
