Hey ppl. I'm new here. but i am taking the SAT I in jan and i need some feedback. i think i will probably get a 750+ on math, but i am pretty bad at verbal. right now, after doing some practice tests, my verbal scores are around 650-700. i am trying to get my verbal score to be over 750 also. i know there is already a lot of threads on verbal sat score help, but seriously, how can i really improve my score in three weeks. and i trust ur word on the jan sat being the easiest. i hope i can get 1500+ on it. Thanks guys.

It's not going to be significantly easier than past SATs. Check the plethora of threads at the top of the first page for reasons why.

To improve verbal:
1) Take a lot of practice tests, and read the answer explanations
2) Read a lot...books, magazines, whatever
3) Do vocab drills, or whatever you do to memorize vocab words
4) Take some more practice tests, and read the answer explanations

I just wrote out a long response on this same topic. Sorry, but I don't feel like repeating myself. If your interested in my advice look at the thread "Calling all 700 or above verbal scores".

You want a 750+ verbal when you have a 590 so far? gee..

Shut up twin sister, stay away from my threads!

geeeeeee...
it's greed!

lol. u know each other?

sure thing..
