have a chance?

hey

i am thinking about trasfering to UIUC, but i dont know if it is hard to get in. i sent a couple emails to them, and they told me their business school is really competitive. i am a sophmore and will finish up with 67 creadits by the end of this semester. i didnt take ACT, SAT, even TOEFL,which is for international students. I think the only thing make me to be competitive is my GPA. i got more than 3.9/4.0. however, everybody knows that GPA is not the only thing that are looking at. BTW, i am an international student. my friends told me that their accounting major is really good, which is the reason i would like to go to there.

i am actually confused now because i dont even know if i should transfer to another school. some of my friends told me that there is no big difference, and i should stay. I think my school is a nice place. but i can get As without study hard. maybe i should go to a better school. who knows.

if i cant get into UIUC, i hope i can go to University of minnesota or michigan state

i am only 19. do you guys think my age can be an advantage?

Why in the HELL would being 19 be an advantage?

i only spent 2 years in high school.

some of applications ask if students go to high school less or more than normal students do. i thought it may be an advantage or disadvantage. i think you can just ignore that piece of information.:P

Where do you go currently?

Perhaps but if your country is on a different system than the standrd 4-year American one than it is neither an advantage nor a disadvantage. If you mean early graduation that I don't see how that can be seen as a very large advantage? All in all, age tends not to count.

thank u for the reply. do u think i have a chance?

3.9 is meaningless unless you say where it is from.

it is from a university in michigan. not MSU or UM.
