Have any Fall 2010 Transfers to TCNJ been offered admission?

Hi, my daughter is on pins and needles waiting to hear if she has gotten in. I know it says on the TCNJ website that notification is April 1, but I am guessing they begin offering admission much sooner than that.

If you are a transfer student who has been offered admission . . . would you please post when you received your admission letter. Do they email a response first? Also, if you could post your stats from your other college, that would be great.

Thanks for any responses!

BUMP! I see that freshman have begun receiving decisions. Any transfers hear back yet?

Please post if anyone gets a decision letter for transfer nto TCNJ for fall of 2010.

I believe that my son was told that they decisions would be announced in April 2010.

Heard back from everyone but the #1 choice! Have any other fall 2010 transfer applicants received a decision?

I have not received a decision yet as far as my transfer application is concerned. College Board says that we should be receiving decision notifications by April 1st…which isn’t far away at all…hmmm

BUMP !!!
Have any transfer applicants received their decisions, whether accepted or rejected? Does TCNJ wait until exactly April 1st to post the decision?

Any transfer students on this board, who can give any insight about their experiences transferring to TCNJ?

I was just offered admission yesterday

58scott – Congratulations! Did you receive a letter in the mail, or did our status change online.

sorry, I meant: did your status change online?

hi yesterday i received my admissions packet! i was thrilled now i am extremely on edge, i am a transfer and the letter told me to pay my 300 dollar acceptance fee online and when i went to click acceptance it told me i had not received admittance yet. do you think it is legitimate or is this a cruel scam?

it might not have been updated online yet. wait until this afternoon, and if it isn’t up by then call them.

futuretcnjmom- i received a letter. i go to school in dc, and i don’t have the letter with my online information, so i haven’t checked yet. i’m fairly knowledgeable about tcnj’s admissions policy…what are your child’s scores, gpa, etc/ what college do they go to?

breeseyb123- i doubt that it’s a scam…you might not be able to accept admission until they evaluate your credits, etc.

Checked my online application status and I was accepted but no letter? Have you all gotten your acceptance letter?

The website discrepancy you’re experiencing is normal, it sometimes takes a few days for the website to show your acceptance.

I transferred to TCNJ this spring, and the main problem I’ve had is with housing. You can apply to get on the waitlist, but if you live within an hour from the campus, there’s a good chance you will not receive housing. I would suggest starting to look at off-campus housing this summer unless you’re prepared to commute if you don’t get housing.

where is the best place to look at off campus housing? (will be a transfer this fall)
