Waiting for a decision?

Hey I'm still waiting for my decision but from what I hear a lot of my friends have gotten decisions, is it bad I'm still waiting? Anyone else still waiting?

It’s not bad, they’re sending the admissions out in waves. Everyone will also hear by April 1st, so at most only another week.

I still havent recieved my decision yet either but after waiting this long, I’ve lost all hope of getting in. The only thing that would surprise me at this point is an acceptance letter.

Hey,
Still haven’t received a decision either. CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER! lol

I applied as a transfer how about you guys? I’m assuming you’re all first year?

I applied as a Transfer, as I was directed, because i missed the deadline and since i had college credits from the military, so im waiting too, but the gave me an extension so that has to count for something

Good luck semper31, and thanks for your service to the country! I hope to see you at TCNJ next year! When I get notification I’ll most likely respond to this thread. Unless I’m rejected :/

i will too, im going biz marketing major you?

I applied as a criminology major with business as an alternative

Everyone still waiting may want to check PAWS. I just checked and they gave me a decision, so maybe all of yours have been updated too.

Good luck everyone :)

Nope…GRRRRRR! This is really nerve wracking. I feel like I’ll be literally the last person in the universe to hear back from TCNJ. Everyone all over face book is like “Yay I got into TCNJ” and I’m just like “Thats good for you”…but what about my decision. I just want an answer.
The date my application was sent and everything was recieved was october 26th (still RD). And I have yet to recieve an answer. I’m almost positive thats a bad thing…or maybe I’m overthinking it.

does anyone know what a rejection on PAWS will look like? For example, will it flat out say “You were not admitted” or will it be something ambiguous like, “This can be because you have not received an offer of admission or because you have already accepted/declined your offer of admission.” I applied as a transfer as well and i checked the UnderGrad Advising Report today and saw that they evaluated my transfer credits. Does anyone know if that is a round-about way of saying i was accepted? I have yet to receive any form of notification.

I just checked my UnderGrad Advising Report and I don’t see anything of the sort. Where does it say it? Maybe you got in and I didn’t :/

You should try clicking accept admission and see if it goes through. Tell me what happens!

I checked on Accept Admission and it still says:

You have no admitted applications that require action at this time.

This can be because you have not received an offer of admission or because you
have already
accepted/declined your offer of admission.

So i don’t know if I have been accepted or not. However, to get to my transfer credit evaluations, i selected TCNJ UnderGrad Advising Report, and then selected View Advising Rpt. Once it loads i saw a few of the courses i took at GMU with checks and “T” next to them. Give it a try, maybe you missed something?

Yeah I got into the report before but I don’t have any check marks. Courses like criminology that I completed at Rutgers didn’t show up on the page. I had no classes with grades. Hmmm we’ll see soon enough.

So none of your classes from RU show up when you check? What about when you select Accept Admission?

I too have my classes checked off in the advising report. Hopefully that is a good sign!

Today I received a rejection letter from TCNJ. I, like you, was concerned and unfortunately I was not accepted. My resume is below in case you wanted to compare. I’m truthfully shocked at their decision.

If any readers have a suggestion on why I was rejected, please feel free to respond.

Wow…you have such a great resume. I am shocked that you did not get in to TCNJ. I wonder what is is that they did not like. How do you think your essay was? My Son is looking to apply to TCNJ next year and although he has some great stuff, I am now nervous.
Makes you wonder who they take and why? I have seen some great students here waiting that i would have thought were a match for this school for sure. I hope you have something great lined up for yourself and Good luck.
