Hey all like many of you I been accepted to SJSU. Are any of you transfers?

I’m a transfer.

I’m a transfer as well.

So , SFSU - declared CE major or SJSU - undeclared major? If i try hard, would i be able to transfer?
Also how many of you provisional, decide on attending SJSU?

@cawahe I fully committed to SJSU:) my choice was between to SJSU and UCD, but UCD takes a while to get back to transfers so i did everything for SJSU.

For those that got admitted and SIR to SJSU which orientation day are you guys attending?

Changing major into an engineering major at SJSU is described here:
<a href=“Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering”>Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering;

According to impaction results at http://info.sjsu.edu/static/admission/impaction.html , civil engineering is not as impacted as some other majors like computer science.

@cawahe
I already decided on SJSU. It was SJSU or SFSU and SFSU is just to far a commute since I work in San Jose. My major is Econ, and I was accepted into the major.

@USChopefull
I registered for the April 11th orientation (the first one available). I’m going to try to take the WST on April 26th so it’s pit of the way before registering for classes in June.

Commited to SJSU as well. Aerospace engineering. Looks like only a few people have the same major as I am. In fact, out of 100 there are probably only 2. Lol

http://profiles.asee.org/profiles/6075/screen/20?school_name= indicates that in 2013 aerospace engineering had 79 frosh, but only 29 sophomores, indicating fairly low retention in the major. Juniors numbered 49 (presumably through transfer students) and seniors numbered 73, presumably through students staying beyond four years (average length is five years, according to http://profiles.asee.org/profiles/6075/screen/23?school_name=

For those that got admitted someone should start a Facebook group!
that way we have some people to talk to at Orientation haha.

By the way I got admitted as a computer engineering major.
Anyone else?
Only con i see with this major is that I don’t have the chance to meet girls:(

BioMed Engr wow it is small. What other csu schools would you guys choose before sjsu for engr?

Also is there any scholarships available at sjsu?

@ucbalumnus thanks for the info!

Hi! Any going to the Admitted spartan day on April 12?

Is there a Facebook page for SJSU class of 2018?

Been provisionally admitted to SJSU awhile ago for Mechanical Engineering. Starting to look into the housing possibilities. Of those here, who plan on living off-campus? On-Campus? Are you coming out of the immediate 30-mile radius of SJSU?

for those in CHemE or BioMedE just got the email from prof Young about the advising part during april 11 orientation… im kinda hella afraid cuz ive only completed a few of those classes on the paper he sent us… will that affect my provisional admission? im hoping i didnt spend money on my plane tix to san jose for nothing maynn!!!

@MechSeou congrats, im looking into at an apartment myself but is really thinking of doing the dorm for close proximity towards classes and stuff, i also have a job waiting for me up there as my company is opening a new store in san jose in april 25th so ive secured a safety net of sort for money to pay rent (thinking of renting a room with others $100-$450 max) or just dorm it…
@ChrisAstro yeh bruh im going to both april 11 orientation for chemical engineering and the admittance day… gonna be flying there thursday night…

Any of admitted transfer here from another states than CA?
