Have I ruined my chances at grad school? Bad first 2 years, but strong final years.

My first two years of college were a disaster to say the least, I was suffering from depression, and low-self esteem. I was pulling C's I got the occasional A and B. I failed and retook a couple of classes. I failed one twice and retook it a 3rd time ( I got an A the 3rd time).

I finally got some help for my issues, and afterwards I started getting all A's.

I have yet to start my 4th year, but if I do as well as I did last year and get all A's, and if I have a strong GRE score. I also have some lab experience.

Do I still have a chance at getting into grad school, despite my horrible freshman and sophomore year?

I am a neuroscience major and I want to get into an ms epidemiology program.

I’m not too familiar with MS admissions, but for PhD at least, GPA and GRE come after research experience and LORs in terms of importance.

A LOT of graduate schools care about your last 60 hours GPA! So go rock 4th year and get all A’s! If you can stick around and do some more coursework to bump the gpa up further, do it!
