Have you called your roomates yet?

So has anyone called his or her roommates yet or have your roommates called you? What's your impression of them so far? I called both of mine and they seem to be very chill people.

1 decided not to show his info.
the other was a total fob and his facebook was in another language so I couldn’t even read anything.

I’m feeling pretty pessimistic today!

My roommates are my high school friends, so yes. :-)

lol @pskate. that made me laugh today :)

I got to them first online -u-

They seem nice and smart, so I’m a bit nervous in case I stay something hurrhurrdumb and they feel awkward

Oh and they look like supermodels. Really pretty! Excited to move in and meet with other UCLA friends and start classes.

yep! found them all through facebook
they both seem nice and chill… we will see though lol
im excited!

So a lot of you just found your roommates on facebook and didn’t bother calling them?

i havent been able to find my roommates on facebook and im skeptical to call them. Alberto and Eduardo, where you at?

i actually just texted one of them and then just chatted with them. Didnt really call lol

i tried texting but got no reply :(

the numbers that they gave me were all landlines… in other words, their home #. When i texted them, it didnt work

Facebook’d my suitemates (as a second-year I signed up with my roomie). Both seem nice. But this is more of a freshman thread, isn’t it? :p

Facebook, no calls

yo i got this dude named allen. i am very shy and dont know how to contact him. what do i do?

You should just call him, and if you’re bad at conversations… think ahead what you want to ask or say to keep the conversation going, and just end it whenever you want to :P

I just called my roommate and said "Is this xxx? [yes on other line] Oooh! I’m you’re roommate! I was actually gonna call you at 3am last night when the info came out, but then I decided against that. Oh yea, my name is xxx. [Other line: u facebook?] Yep! I’m so excited to meet you! Oh and … "

You get the idea. (Oh, and I facebooked my suitemate since she gave a landline and she’s at orientation… The other suitemate I’m gonna call tomorrow! )

What am I reading on these UCLA threads I:I

@zzzboy

Not really. If you call that “punk’d” that is sad. I’ve seen more action from a quarter glued on the floor.
