Have you ever failed a course?

<p>Question…does anything below a C count as pretty much failing, if the course is required for your major? Some people keep telling me we have to at least get a C in order to get credit for it</p>

<p>I’m probably going to fail a class this semester
hopefully wont be too big of a deal
I could probably try really hard the rest of the semester and get a C but I dont think that would be a very good use of my time (its a foreign language course I no longer have much interest in and I am a hard science major)
so I’ll probably just stop going to class the rest of the semester
If I really need to I can retake it later on for my GPA but I doubt I’ll need to</p>

<p>For less than a C, you get credit but it may not count toward prereqs for your major or even gen ed, or to take certain higher classes like language or math sequence. Here, it’s C- minimum or else it only counts (if a D) toward the 120 overall credits.</p>
