or vice versa, did you know someone and then spontaneously found out that they visited CC?

this happened to me a lot of times. i spontaneously found out that some well-known heavengames ppl go on CC, and then i spontaneously found out that some CCers visited physicsforums. Aops doesnt count cuz CC and AOPS share a large user base (although i alone probably bring down AOPS's average IQ by at least 10 points)

although i dont know any ccers with accts on any of the really active websites (but i dont know a lot of ppl on those websites)

oh yeah, and several ppl from my school posted on cc hahaha

Yes! It was so weird. She had posted in the “joke” section talking about an Algebra teacher and it sounded extremely distinct and familiar to the teacher I had for Alg 2 H so I PM’d her and…sure enough it was. Small world! We go to the same school!

Yeah, one time I was looking up someone from another forum on facebook and happened to glance down at the box that shows a few of his friends, and there was Poseur.

I later saw him mentioned in some thread on CC, and it turned out he had been an active poster.

Does Facebook count? And yes on other sites I have, such as SDN.

Well, I was shocked that three CCer’s go to the same district as I do. And lately I feel extremely inferior because they got like high SAT scores, took more AP classes, etc.

Mmhmm. On a composer’s forum. I’m not even a composer.

I hope this never happens!! I say things on CC that I wouldn’t want people I actually know to hear or know

I encountered one CCer on a website that’s basically the British version of CC, but if it had a lot more College Life/HSL/Parents Forum style posts.

LOL, I found out my friend was a senior member with 2k+ posts! HAHAHA what a surprise!

I haven’t, except for the few of my friends who post occasionally. But if I were to randomly stumble across a CCer outside in the “real world,” I think that’d be pretty cool.
